Shaving soap

Remember back in the day, when the world was simpler, Dad had soap and a brush that he used to shave? Over time the simple and natural was replaced by synthetic and cheap. This soap will take you back a few years. It makes a huge amount of stable foam that stays for a long time, and contains substances that protect the skin during and after shaving. Comes in a tin jar, convenient to carry, close, and store.

It is recommended to use this soap with a shaving brush, even if a simple one, to create enough lather. But don't worry, it's possible without.

Of course, the soap is suitable as a shaving soap for the face as well as for the rest of the body.
So what does it contain?
- A mixture of six natural oils that create a soap with a lot of foam that lasts for a long time: coconut oil, cocoa butter, castor oil, shea butter, almond oil and soy wax that is rich in stearic acid and provides a stable foam.
- Natural kaolin clay, which protects the skin during shaving and adds moisture
- vegetable glycerin that is moisturizing (absorbs moisture from the air to the skin)
- and most importantly: an earthy and refreshing blend of essential oils of grapefruit, cedar, sandalwood and juniper.

This shaving soap is made using a method called dual lye - unlike the other soaps, which contain sodium hydroxide as the basic side of the soap, this soap also partially contains potassium hydroxide, which is made from the ashes of trees. It causes a lot of foam, but on the other hand makes the soap significantly softer than other solid soaps. Therefore, it is highly recommended to buy the soap together with the can, or alternatively find a suitable sized jar in which to store the soap.
